2ND EASTER SUNDAY

26 & 27 APRIL 2025

5PM, 10 AM & 12 NN MASSES

PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART

Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Your Most Sacred Heart.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may ever love You more and more.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me.

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours.

Amen.

(5PM) ENTRANCE: EASTER SONG

1.

My Lord, He died for a Kingdom,

To redeem the hearts of men.

Now My people, don’t you weep

He has risen from His sleep.

He lives again, Alleluia!

Chorus:

Sing alleluia, the Lord is risen,

He is risen indeed, Alleluia!

2.

My Lord came forth like the morning,

With the splendour of the sun.

Came triumphant from the womb,

From the darkness of the tomb,

The victory won, Alleluia!

3.

My Lord united our mountains

With the everlasting hills.

Now the seasons and the sea

Sing His song of victory,

Rocks and rills, Alleluia!

4.

My Lord renewed all creation,

That had waited late and long.

Now we all with one accord,

Live and love the Risen Lord,

This is our song, Alleluia.

(5PM) OFFERTORY: I OFFER MY LIFE

1.

All that I am, all that I have,

Lay them down before You O Lord.

All my regrets, all my acclaim,

The joy and the pain, I’m making them Yours.

Chorus:

Lord I offer my life to You,

Everything I’ve been thru’,

Use it for Your glory.

Lord I offer my days to You,

Lifting my praise to You,

As a pleasing sacrifice,

Lord I offer You my life.

2.

Things in the past, things yet unseen,

Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true.

All of my hopes, all of my plans,

My heart and my hands are lifted to You.

3.

What can we give, that You have not given,

And what do we have, that is not already Yours.

All we possess are these lives we’re living,

And that’s what we give to You, Lord.

(5PM) COMMUNION: RESURRECTION

1.

Jesus Christ has triumphed now, Resurrection!

He has conquered death somehow, Resurrection!

Now see the tomb lay bare, Resurrection!

Death could not hold Him there, Resurrection!

Alleluia! Come the resurrection!

Alleluia! Come the resurrection!

2.

God has raised Him from the dead, Resurrection!

Risen our victorious Head, Resurrection!

Death could not end His reign, Resurrection!

God’s will was then made plain, Resurrection!

Alleluia! Come the resurrection!

Alleluia! Come the resurrection!

3.

Jesus Christ now lives again, Resurrection!

Offering new life to men, Resurrection!

(5PM) THANKSGIVING: THANK YOU JESUS, KING OF KINGS

1.

Thank You Lord, for saving my soul.

Thank You Lord, for making me whole.

Thank You Lord, for giving to me,

Thy great salvation so rich and free.

Chorus:

King of kings and Lord of lords,

Jesus is Lord of all.

All my possessions and all my life,

Jesus is Lord of all.

King of kings and Lord of lords,

Jesus is Lord of all.

All my possessions and all my life,

Jesus is Lord of all.

(5PM) RECESSIONAL: NEW LIFE! NEW LIFE!

Chorus:

New life!  New life!

You came to bring us new life,

New life!  New life!

We find such joy in Your abundant life.

1.

You are the source of our great joy,

The fountain of all life.

You give us living water,

You bid us come and drink.

We come to You, we bless You, Lord,

We glorify Your Name!

We praise You, Lord, we worship You,

We thank You for Your gift of new life.

2.

You are the source of our new life,

In Your light we see light.

You show to us Your goodness,

You bid us taste and see.

We come to You, we bless You, Lord,

We glorify Your Name!

We praise You, Lord, we worship You,

We thank You for Your gift of new life.

(10AM) ENTRANCE: THE LIVING GOD

1.

Sing praises to the living God, glory, Alleluia!

Come adore the living God, glory, Alleluia!

Though sun and moon may pass away,

His word will ever stay.

His power is for evermore, glory, Alleluia!

Chorus:

Glory to the Trinity,

The Undivided Unity.

The Father, Son and Spirit One,

From whom all life and goodness come.

2.

To the living God we sing, glory, Alleluia!

Let our love and praises ring, glory, Alleluia!

To His sons He always gives,

His mercy and His love.

Praise Him now for evermore, glory, Alleluia!

3.

To the God who cannot die, glory, Alleluia!

To the living God we cry: glory, Alleluia!

He promised to be with us,

And He lives in everyone.

Love Him now for evermore, glory, Alleluia!

(10AM) OFFERTORY: LORD, MAKE US READY

Chorus:

Lord, make us ready now to share this meal,

Sign of our life in You.

Lord, make us ready now to share this meal,

Sign of our life in You.

1.

We bring You this food,

Which bears the stain of human toil.

This bread, hard won food of slavery,

This bread which brings to mind each meal.

Which men have shared in happiness,

Lord, give it pow’r to make us free.

2.

We bring You this wine,

The fruit of distant smokey hills.

This wine, cool and red like evening light,

The cause of suffering, yet the drink,

That makes man’s heart alive and warm,

Lord give it pow’r to make us free.

(10AM) COMMUNION: I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE

1.

I am the Bread of Life,

He who comes to Me shall not hunger.

He who believes in Me shall not thirst.

No one can come to Me, unless the Father draws him.

Chorus:

And I will raise him up,

And I will raise him up,

And I will raise him up on the last day.

2.

The Bread that I will give,

Is My flesh for the lift of the world.

And he who eats of this Bread,

He shall live forever, He shall live forever.

3.

Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man,

And drink of His blood,

And drink of His blood,

You shall not have life within you.

4.

I am the Resurrection,

I am the Life.

He who believes in Me, even if he die,

He shall live forever.

(10AM) THANKSGIVING: BECAUSE HE LIVES

1.

God sent His Son, they called him Jesus.

He came to love, heal and forgive.

He lived and died to pay my pardon.

An empty grace is there to prove my Saviour lives.

Chorus:

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow;

Because He lives, all fear is gone;

Because I know, He holds the future,

And life is worth the living,

Just because He lives.

2.

And then one day, I’ll cross that river.

I’ll fight life’s final war with pain.

And then as death gives way to victory,

I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He reigns.

(10AM) RECESSIONAL: OUR GOD REIGNS

1.

How lovely on the mountains are the feet of Him,

Who brings Good News.

Good News announcing peace!

Proclaiming new of happiness!

Our God reigns!  Our God reigns!

Chorus:

Our God reigns!  (He reigns in glory)

Our God reigns!  (He reigns in power)

Our God reigns!  Our God reigns!

2.

Out from the tomb, He came with grace and majesty,

He is alive, He is alive.

God loves us so,

See His hands, His feet, His side,

Yes, we know, He’s alive!

(12NN) COMMUNION: ANG KATAWAN NI KRISTO

1.

In the presence of our God

As we gather here in Christ

The breath of life, Grace and divine

We have come to break the bread

We have come to share our lives

Let us bring these fruits to the table

The love of God, yours and mine!

Ang katawan ni Kristo

Ang katawan ni Kristo

Behold the Body of Christ

Jesus our Saviour and Life!

Rejoice O people of God!

We are the Body of Christ!

When we gather in our homes

Through our prayers and our meals

We are fed and nourished together

Our families, broken and blessed

In the household of the Lord

Where we come to share the meal

We are fed the words of our Saviour

One family, strengthened and healed

3.

Is not the meal that we bless and share a communion in the life of Christ?

One bread One blessing

One cup make us one body in our lord

In the presence of our God

By the justice that is shown

We will build a kingdom together

The Love of Christ given to all!
